Our first post in the new year recaps some bullet points on the Arnold-Chiari Syndrome Type I, which is often referred to as Chiari malformation. The Arnold-Chiari Syndrome indicates the herniation of the lower part of the en- cephalon and the cerebellum, the cerebellar tonsils, through the foramen magnum towards the spinal canal.

This patient travelled from the United States of America to Spain for treatment at the Institut Chiari & Siringomielia & Escoliosis de Barcelona for treatment according to the Filum System® .
